Job Title: Commercial Solar Sales Executive (Southeast Territory)

Locations: Actively hiring for sales representatives in Myrtle Beach, Conway, Greenville, Greer, Spartanburg, Rock Hill, Columbia
The ideal candidate is a technically minded, ideologically driven, creative sales consultant with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork. Responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Client Engagement: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand potential clients' energy requirements and present tailored solar solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals that highlight the benefits of our solar offerings.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Market Insight: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to effectively position our solutions.
- Collaboration: Work alongside our installation and project management teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline management using CRM software.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Ability to work leads from introductory call to solar system install.
- Ability to confidently present proposal and financial options to client.
- Proven ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Strong customer service orientation and integrity.
- Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on renewable energy development experience or rigorous project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related energy field preferred.
- Experience in alternative energy development, particularly in conceptual design of solar and/or battery storage.
- Familiarity with financial modeling, energy project finance, and funding sources (e.g., Production Tax Credit, Investment Tax Credit, Renewable Energy Certificates).
- Understanding of structured finance concepts, distributed energy project financials, and operating performance metrics.
- Commitment to continuous learning in the energy industry and applicable finance strategies.
- Ability to work extended hours and travel, as needed.
Pre-existing connections or relationships in the following industries are a plus:
- Manufacturing
- Agriculture (e.g., chicken farms)
- Storage units, distribution centers, and warehouses
- Breweries, liquor distributors, and small hardware stores
- RV parks, marinas, and boat manufacturers
- Entertainment venues (e.g., arcades, trampoline parks, bowling alleys, laser tag centers)
- Large churches, private/public schools, and universities
- Real estate developers and office buildings
- Car dealerships and packaging companies
Compensation:
- 1099 sales representative
- Uncapped Commission
